A baseline socio-economic survey has been undertaken with families involved in Blue Ventures sea cucumber farming project. The dataset is available for analysis by a social science with sound quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. The report should include provide a list of considerations and recommendations of the key characteristics and essential qualities of groups involved in sea cucumber farming such as size, gender considerations, social organisation and adaptive capacity, to ensure the profitability and long-term sustainability of the activity.
