Dive Manager Sarteneja, Belize Alasdair is in charge of managing everything dive-related on site. |
Al is a Geography graduate and became a PADI OWSI in 2006. Since then he has worked in Mexico, the Seychelles and with Blue Ventures in Madagascar, generating a wealth of experience teaching diving in remote tropical areas.
The Dive Manager is responsible for all diving on site, including the training of both staff and volunteers, and certification of diving ability, as required, up to Dive Master level. They maintain all dive training records and produce the daily dive schedules.
They also ensure that all diving equipment is repaired and maintained at safe working levels, as well as helping out with all the onsite projects.
