She has been a qualified nurse for 10 years and has a Diploma in Tropical Nursing from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her overseas experience most recently included working in Cambodia in a hospital for surgical war and mine victims.
After continued efforts to assist in the developments of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme, Becks is currently managing our PHE Programme, with Dr Vik Mohan, and was one of the winners of the 2010 Vodafone World of Difference programme.
