As Community Research Coordinator at BV’s new Belo-sur-mer site, Brian’s taken the plunge from “green” to “blue”, drawing on his two years of experience as a US Peace Corps Volunteer working with the rural Betsileo rice farming communities of Madagascar’s central plateau, and applying it in his work with coastal Sakalava/Vezo fishing villages.
Brian holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University, and spent his previous year in Madagascar as Project Coordinator for the British marine conservation NGO ReefDoctor.
